I bought this log grabber for my husband to use as an option when loading our wood stove. He loves it! The glove he was using started leaving his hands smelling like smoke, which he didn't like. This well made tool feels substantial, looks good and works like a charm. You use both hands to pick up a log, but we can hold it with one hand while we open the door to the wood stove with the other hand to place the log. The tips are sharpened nicely so they grip logs just right. It's the right length for our stove which uses about 12 inch long logs. The grabber keeps your hand just far enough away from the flames so your hand doesn't get too warm. It's worth the price. It's made to last for decades. I use and love it too. This is a keeper!
